Restec 2020 polyester resin laid directly over your existing felt, asphalt, fibreglass or EPDM. A complete waterproof skin without the cost and mess of a full strip-off.
We inspect the existing substrate, prime it, then apply the Restec system in two coats. The result bonds to what is already there and seals it under one continuous, flexible fibreglass layer.

If the roof is sound underneath and the problem is only skin-deep, an overlay is usually the smarter choice.
Some roofs are too far gone to cover. In these cases a strip and re-roof is the honest answer.
Every Smartseal roof comes in your choice of 92 BS4800 colours, with a smooth or non-slip finish to suit the job.

Not always. If the deck and covering are sound and dry we can overlay directly. Where boards are soft or waterlogged, those areas are replaced first so the new GRP has a solid base.
An overlay carries the same 25-year guarantee as a new GRP roof, because it is the same seamless fibreglass system applied over a properly prepared existing roof.
Usually, because there is less labour and waste in stripping the old roof. We quote both options after a survey so you can compare like for like.
