Seamless fibreglass roofs and overlays across south west London, on Victorian terraces, mansion blocks, rear extensions and roof terraces. Guaranteed 25 years.
Putney is largely Victorian and Edwardian, and that shows up on the roofs. Behind almost every terrace is a rear extension, a side return or an outrigger with a flat roof on top, and the mansion blocks along the main roads carry large flat spans of their own. Most of it was originally felt or asphalt, and once those reach the end of their life the failures start at the joints and overlaps.
GRP fibreglass is laid wet and cures into one continuous sheet, so there are no seams to open up in the first place. We cover Putney and the surrounding SW15 streets, along with Putney Heath, Roehampton, Southfields, Wandsworth, Barnes, East Sheen and across the river into Fulham.
A large fibreglass overlay we completed locally, taking a big, complicated roof with rooflights, vents and services back to one clean waterproof surface.
Side returns, outriggers and kitchen extensions are small, awkward roofs with lots of junctions against brickwork. That's exactly where felt splits and exactly where a seamless system pays off.
Large shared roofs over occupied flats, often with rooflights, vents and services running across them. An overlay avoids exposing the building during a strip-out.
Outdoor space is at a premium in SW15, so plenty of flat roofs double as terraces. We lay a non-slip walk-on finish for those. Can you walk on a GRP roof? →
Terraced streets, permit bays and narrow side passages. We plan access, deliveries and any scaffold before the job starts so it runs cleanly.
A new seamless layer straight over a sound existing roof, with no strip-out, no skip and far less disruption to anyone living below. More on overlays →
One continuous fibreglass skin hand-laid over a solid deck, for extensions, dormers, garages and bays. More on GRP flat roofs →
Non-slip, fully waterproof fibreglass built to take furniture and foot traffic. More on balconies →

See the full palette & finishesYes, that is a large part of our south west London work. Rear extensions, side returns, outriggers and dormers suit seamless GRP well because there are no joints or overlaps to fail, which is where felt normally gives up.
Usually yes. Where the existing deck is sound we can lay a GRP overlay straight over the top, which avoids exposing the building during a strip-out and keeps disruption to the flats below to a minimum.
Often yes. GRP is strong enough to walk on and we can lay a non-slip finish designed for foot traffic. The structure needs to be able to take the load, and edge protection is required, so tell us at the survey and we will spec it properly.
